Message	My car had recently been damaged by hail and now its at a body shop to have repairs. The thing is my insurance wants to use a used OEM fender because they dont want to pay for a new one. Can I tell them that I want a new one and insist upon it? Also the bodyshop wants to put a new hood but my insurance wants to use paintless dent removal. The bodyshop said they will have a PDR guy come look at it but if he doesn't want to do it and the insurance won't pay for a new hood they will reject the job all together. Do I have the right to tell my insurance to use all new parts or must I go by what they want? I am not sure and would like some input by anyone who has gone through this process. Thanks in advance.
